What is kiteboarding? +
Kiteboarding can best be described as a form of sailing in which one uses a large kite harnessed to the body in order ride across the water, snow, ice or land. It is a cross between many sports such as wakeboarding, surfing, sailing, snowboarding, parachuting and paragliding.
What is the difference between kiteboarding and kitesurfing? +
Sometimes the words are used interchangeably. "Kitesurfing" is more properly used to describe the act of kiteboarding with a surf style board in the waves. Most people get the point when using either word.
What payments methods do we accept? +
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards. Cash is always preferable! Paypal payments can also be arranged.
What should I bring to my lesson? +
We provide all the kiteboarding equipment in the lessons but the main items to bring to your kiteboarding lessons are: 1.) Booties (water-shoes)- There are some sharp objects scattered throughout the bottom of the Banana River where we do most of the lessons. We do not want you cut your…
Do you provide the equipment during the lessons? +
Yes we will provide the kite, board and harness. You should see the above question for the items you should bring.
If I have my own equipment, can I use it? +
Yes. If the conditions are right and the instructor is comfortable with the condition or style of gear you have, it can be used in the lesson. There are no discounts for using your own gear but it is good to learn on what you will be using!
I wakeboard, surf, windsurf and/or sail...do I still need to take lessons? +
Yes!! All these sports will help you accelerate in your learning process but there is a lot of safety and condition knowledge to be learned. You will also greatly benefit by learning how to apply those skills you already have to kiteboarding. Flying a large kite is not hard to…
What languages do we offer lessons in? +
Lessons are available in English and Spanish. Please let us know if you are requesting a lesson in Spanish.

How far are you from Orlando? +
We are about 35 minutes to an hour or so depending where you are in Orlando. Average time to our shop is about 45 minutes. We are the closest beach to the Orlando Area!
